Traditional Research Coverage

Conducting across the United States requires an understanding of state-by-state socio-economic factors, historical legal structures that determined what kinds of records were created, records management, repository structures and accessibility. We have developed a coverage map based upon our collective experience and accessibility to repositories. As we are geographically located around the nation’s capitol, we have access to significant sources housed in the Library of Congress, the National Archives and the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Library offering a plethora of sources from across the United States. Fees for research for yellow coverage areas will be dependent on the depth of research already documented, availability of sources online or in our nation’s capitol, and any required travel.

Green: Normal Package fees apply

Yellow: Additional fees may apply

Forensic Coverage

Forensic projects are evaluated based on the nature of the case and the statutory framework for each jurisdiction covered in the case. Requirements concerning research of living people and who is permitted to perform such services vary across localities. Our growing network of attorneys, researchers and credentials will permit expansion of these services. We have successfully undertaken research with legal counsel and proper court authorities in seven states.

Except in exceptional circumstances permitted by the courts, we do not perform research on living persons without their consent, the consent of their legal representatives and/or court orders. We do not perform services on a contingency fee basis, nor do we do perform investigative genetic genealogy or law enforcement services of any kind.
